As She guides Persephone,
hears silenced cries,
I pray to Hekate to hear me.

I read that She watches over
women in childbirth
and I pray that She protects
the childless.

I'm told that She will deliver justice
where justice is due
and I pray She bring justice, too,
beyond the courtroom,
beyond the bedroom,
to encompass all who feel Her,
fear for what's still to come.
