NOTICING and CELEBRATING beauty gives me daily purpose, meaning, and connection

The moonflower (Datura innoxia) blooms for one night only, filling
our senses with its intense fragrance and visual stages of actualization.


It goes from tightly wound to ever-increasing openness until it can get no wider,

and then it wilts, having lived its purpose.

I celebrate each bloom, giving thanks and striving to be just as open and giving.
