THREE VOICES

  • VOICE 1: With the work, and ironic cause of death, of Roy Cohn we felt it important to highlight the work of ACT UP!, and the music the lead to their movement to bring HIV, AIDS, and LGBTQ civil rights to the forefront of national politics. From Springsteen “Streets of Philadelphia” to Sommerville’s “Something to Live For”, Tracy A. Gilchrist of HIV plus magazine gives us a video-playlist [with stories] that will connect you to brave voices before us.

  • VOICE 2: Storytelling that pushes our creative minds to consider “…how to heal a community after the fight is over?” or “how can we apply AFTER the fight to IN THE MIDST of the fight?” Find a human, animal, or teddy bear…inside or out….take a breath, and a listen to “the paradox of forgiveness,” from NPR’s hidden brain podcast.
