Part 1, Falling Phoenix
Hear me like a siren in the night
Fear me like the silence in the light
Sear me red as a demon’s eyes
Black as a sinner’s heart crucified
Save me from my ugly death
Scream our names with every breath
The worms of a bloody destiny
The terms of a molested vasectomy
God prays to human thralls
The moon still calls universal halls
Orchestral rehearsal impersonating hatred
I wait for something less than sacred
Save me from my seraphim heresy
Marry the miscarriage in a cathedral of shadows
Shells are still hallowed, hell is still waters
Bells are lingering will, calling, infringing
Part 2, Human Drum
From the beginnings of my sabbatical religion imprisoned apparitions
Halleluiah speaks the blackened wildfire through the coals
My silhouette walks a lonely road
My shadow lives alone, upon an ashen throne
Cast-iron hope, vast maniacal interwove
Interloping the exodus of my bedlam
Resonating chills of umbilical guillotines
I rasp the vermillion before I turn to dust
Even shadows yearn to rust
Every battle burned to husks
Bones that rattle in the cusp
It fell right through, no matter how hard I clutch
Maybe I was human once
Before the past of kingdom come
As I played my taut skin drum
And thumped my heart dried out by sun
Part 3, Reapers’ Choir
Fearless blighting silenced by the bright
Blackened wildfire is our bloody destiny
Witness the present I gave you, the gift of now’s hatred
A memoir to hell’s gospels, apostles of gangrene graffiti
Anchored to infinity’s limericks of photosynthesis
Alabaster dreamcatchers drafted from the rafters of my decapitation resurface
Psychedelic evangelicals with antennas tethered to Armageddon’s herses
Etched in crimson fingerprinting hieroglyphics on dunes of moonshine’s crucifixion
Transfixed on stagnant ammunition glamourized by tattered battle scars
Anguish fragrant ramifications reanimated to die again for you
Patterned asterisks eradicated for your demonstrated pleasure
Disconbobulating autonomous abominations unsevered in their vengeance
Unsympathetic mementos, or heaven’s sentinels
Wendigo’s of embryos, or bombs of Godless
Pulled apart like clouds, the alcoves of megalomaniacal
Devils falling down like the sky were a house of cards
Feathers, crowns, talons, chords, fortified mortification
Angels in the ground, cloaked in ashen doubt
Reign within the doubt, spit the crucifixions howl
I’ll rip you free from Salem, trailblazing bloody mayhem
You made me like this
Seized my heart, raised me flightless
You praised me scytheless
Preached the Reapers’ Choir, braided lifeless iron fire
Intertwined with the ripe ripped fruit
Withering seraphim lost in youth
Hard childhood, violated environment
Charred wildwood, carved to be vile, warped
