The Day Jeffrey Epstein Told
Me He Had Dirt on Powerful People,”
by James B. Stewart. New York Times,
August 12, 2019.

One spoke it out loud.
Two heard it in side.

‪Two more mile‬
‪markers along‬
the single, lonely
‪Nowhere Road
of Circle Island
‪where blame soars ‬
‪like Cupid’s arrow‬.

‪It is known by
‪anthropologists
and economists alike:‬

Circular societies,
those which chase their own tale-
on a single track, are known to have
a four clustered-caste, balancing
suffering and abstraction, always
blaming ignorance of other, always
claiming certainty of self.

The People have internalized this way over centuries,
alongside their told-to-be Truth:

Humility is not the focal, the front, nor the center of circular societies.
Humility is too heavily taxed, so labeled ‘the poor man’s luxury.’
