Savage is the dark day
Calm is the night
Firecrackers in the sky
It’s a wedding of the time.

So Death looks bright as morning sun
And shimmers like morning dew
Bride in black satin spun
has all her dark love to spew.

Chandeliers made of stars
Shine against the hellish scars
Of mystical confessions
That are mere selections.

There is Battle in His eyes
And She stands not mesmerized
And all this passes by
As She prays for Him to die.

“You took my life,” She said
“With bones You crowned my head.
And all the souls were dead
Who made my wedding bed.

No, no this isn’t done
Consent no game of fun
I wear no white for You
I have no ring for You.”

So Death stood with an open mouth
His wedding night was heading south
Battle in His eyes collapsed
Starry chandelier collapsed.

Diamond stars returned to night
Morning sun was burning bright
Death wore His robes all white
Bride stood with her stormy height.

And all the guests henceforth depart
The un-wed couple breaks apart
He takes Her hand and lightly bows
“Madam, I need no empty vows.

You need no Death to outlive Life
For Life is like a ruthless knife.
And when You wish to stand with me
With me you stand for eternity.”

“But no eternity for me,
I need my solo ecstasy.
I need my dreams to not be dead.”
And so the Womankind hath said.

And so She danced alone tonight
She danced with a smile so bright.
Death was not no Man in sight
And He knew He wasn’t right.
