Endless Beginnings

The one that stopped halfway

Coming back moving closer

Feelings on acid dissolve on the top of my tongue, dancing

Hand in hand hand on back

Let’s move slow against the music

Let the feelings dig down like a well that fills all the way to the top drip drop

Turn towards one another like sunflowers who can’t find the sun

Time has melted and Dalí is pissed

No period of time too short or too long

There is only now, or perhaps then

I’ll remain here all the same

Pages turning and turning and stop, because there you are in a place I didn’t expect to find you

Sitting amidst the rainbow in your amber hue

I deal only in feelings my tender is tender

I think you are hiding but hiding that you are hiding a double disguise

Facades crumble and I will catch the falling shards and put them in my pocket

Once a day on every one of the days

I will slip a kind word under your pillow

Hoping that your day is as wonderful as you

Filling up the empty space and asking gracefully if I wouldn’t mind reaching down inside myself and producing something for show and tell

Opening the door to a room I have been begging to air out waiting on a princess charming no less

I have held the most beautiful thing in the world a privilege not easy to forget

have you forgotten?

Do you think the birds start each day pondering their desire? Asking if it’s right if it’s deserved if it’s the correct want?

No they open their eyes and make their calls and let their wings decide where today will take them. let’s spread ours too
