A reflection on the Medieval Christian Mysticism of Saint Hildegard Von Bingen — and how they explicitly stated that they were nonbinary and that they had no gender because they were a vessel for the Christian God.  This addresses the history of trans people and one example of how we have historically been seen as sacred.
